timenow.dev has no accounts, no sign-up, and no database of visitors. This page explains what is still collected and why.

What stays in your browser

If you choose a timezone from the header menu, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it is remembered next time. It is never sent to a server. Your default timezone is read from your browser and is not derived from your IP address.

Analytics

When enabled, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which markets are viewed. Google Analytics may set cookies and collects technical information such as your browser type and approximate region. We use it only in aggregate and do not combine it with any other data about you. You can block analytics with your browser settings or an extension.

Advertising

The site does not show ads today. If Google AdSense is added later, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, and this page will be updated with details and opt-out information before any ad code goes live.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address and requested page for security and reliability.
